Fire Chief Dave McConnell says his department is currently accepting monetary and non-perishable food donations for its annual community Christmas baskets program.
McConnell says the department conducts the program with help from the Tuscarawas County Council for Church and Community (T4C).
McConnell says the program is a positive thing for the department.
Individuals wishing to make a donation to the program can drop off their contribution to either the Dennison Fire Department or Dennison village hall.
Check donations should be made payable to Dennison Christmas Basket Fund and mailed to 302 Grant Street, Dennison, Ohio 44621.
