He owned and operated a buggy shop and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by his wife the former Annie M. Hochstetler whom he married February 11, 1947; his children Drusilla (Eli) Coblentz of Wilmot, Monroe (Iva) Miller and Owen (Mary) Miller both of Fresno, David (Edith) Miller of Clare, Michigan, Jr. (Edna) Miller and Betty (Ervin) Miller both of Sugarcreek, Robert (Mary Ellen) Miller of Fresno, John (Linda) Miller of Sugarcreek, Ruth Ann (Henry) Barkman of Fresno, Marty (Esther) Miller and Leroy (Laura) Miller both of Montana, and Naomi (Eli) Yoder of the home, his daughter-in-law Ellen (Melvin) Nisley of Fresno, 68 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 22 step great grandchildren, 17 step great great grandchildren and his sister Fannie Miller of Fredericksburg.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Ivan Miller, his daughter-in-law Sara Miller, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 5 brothers and 3 sisters Joe, Davy, Emanuel, Monroe, Aden, Anna, Ada, and Esther.
Services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 9:00 AM at the Miller residence with Bishop Junior M.C. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Raber Cemetery in Crawford Twp., Coshocton County. Friends may call any time after 1:00 PM Monday at the Miller residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
