Harrison Central Student Council Collects Cards for Charity

Greeting cards are being collected as an area student council undertakes a special project for charity.

Harrison Central Junior and Senior High School in Cadiz is collecting cards for all occasions. Student Council advisor Duran Morgan says the campaign benefits St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.

Morgan says contributed cards should measure five inches by seven inches or smaller but cannot come from American Greetings, Hallmark or Disney.

While the program began nationwide thirty years ago, Morgan says this is the first year Harrison Central has participated.

Morgan says anyone who wants to donate any cards for this cause can drop them off at Harrison Central High School at 440 East Market Street in Cadiz.
