Detective Cathy Bickford with the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year old Thomas E. Wright was arrested Friday about 2am at his Gnadenhutten residence on a secret grand jury indictment.
She says the investigation into Wright began in February 2011.
Bickford says Wright denied any knowledge or association with child pornography images and/or videos when initially questioned by authorities who searched his previous residence on Bell Avenue in Dover in July 2011.
Bickford says Wright’s laptop computer contained one home video of a local male who was 16 years old at the time and is now an adult.
Bickford says Wright has previously coached basketball for Riverview Schools, Indian Valley Schools, and AAU basketball teams and at times would referee.
Bickford says Wright is being held in the Tuscarawas County Jail pending his arraignment in county common pleas court.
