Kathryn E. Cramblett, 102, of Carrollton passed away Saturday afternoon December 29, 2012 at Bowerston Hills Nursing Home. A daughter of the late Lewis and Laura Justice Albright, she was born May 27, 1910 in Los Angeles, California.
Kathryn was a member of the New Harrisburg Presbyterian Church, Carroll Chapter of the Eastern Star, Carrollton Garden Club, Carrollton Music Club, Carroll County Retired Teachers, and the Atwood Yacht Club.
She is survived by a son, Jim (Darlene) Cramblett of Carrollton; a daughter, Kathy (Leonard) Hutson of Carrollton; three grandchildren, Ken (Denise) Hutson, Laura (Boyd) Warner, Jennifer (Brent) Baker; and ten great grandchildren.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Cramblett Sr., in 1996.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home with Rev. John Lane and Rev. Dr. Robert P. Hoover officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home with Eastern Star Services at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made in Kathryn's name to the Bell-Herron Scholarship Fund or the Carrollton Music Club.
