He worked at Stoney Hill Mixing Bird Seed Plant and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by his wife the former Mary (Raber) Yoder whom he married March 19, 1964, his children Martha (Junior) Shetler and Marion (Laura) Yoder both of Millersburg, Marvin (Elmina) Yoder of Dundee, Mahlon (Lizzie Mae) Yoder of the home, son-in-law Eli (Dorothy) Yoder of Millersburg, 19 grandchildren 1 step grandchild, 3 great grandchildren, brothers Roman A.I. (Fannie) Yoder, Isaac (Ellen) Yoder, sisters Martha (Henry) Coblentz, Verba (William) Troyer, Amanda (Wayne) Beachy, Bena (Roman E.) Miller and Fannie Miller.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Miriam, sisters Anna and Nancy, brothers-in-law Sam Yoder and Dennis Miller.
Services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 9:00 AM at the Yoder Residence with Bishop Leroy R. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery in Mechanic Twp., Holmes County. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
