A three-vehicle accident in New Philadelphia has resulted in two people being sent to the hospital.
 
New Philadelphia police were called to the intersection of North Broadway Street and Park Avenue NW just before 3:30pm on Thursday, where a vehicle driven by Bobbie Marihugh, age 29 of New Philadelphia, rear-ended a car driven by New Philadelphia’s Rachel Gauvey, age 32, the impact of which caused Gauvey to collide with a vehicle being driven by Christopher Loos, age 26 of Dover.
 
Marihugh and 12-year-old Hannah Gauvey, a passenger in Rachel Gauvey’s car, were taken to Union Hospital for treatment of injuries.
