The first class will enter the Hall of Fame during the weekend of January 25-26. Committee Chairman Ed Marsh says this idea has been in the planning stages for several years.
Marsh has enjoyed contacting the inductees to let them know they’ve been chosen to enter the Hall of Fame. He says for the most part, he’s been successful in reaching either the former team members or a family member from the 1940 championship team.
Marsh says the Hall of Fame group will be introduced between the junior varsity and varsity games on January 25th as a part of the school’s Hall of Fame weekend.
Marsh says he’s hoping the Hall of Fame class inductions will become an annual event.
