Dover Police Investigating Reports of Cars Being Ransacked
The Dover police department is looking into four cases of cars being entered and ransacked.
According to police, each of the cars was unlocked late Monday night at the time of the incidents.
A Wooster Avenue resident reported nothing missing from the vehicle but two bags were left behind.
Another said a $300 pair of reading glasses was taken from his car on Dover Avenue while another Dover Avenue resident reported a cell phone cord and five dollars in change being taken by someone who left a flashlight inside the vehicle.
Meanwhile, a car on West 12th Street was entered and ransacked, but nothing was taken.
Dover police say the cases remain under investigation.
