Mud Run & ZTAP Host “Winterfest” Saturday

The Mud Run Streamkeepers and the Zeisberger Trail and Parks (ZTAP) organization have partnered to host a day of family fun and education this weekend.

The groups will host their first-annual “Winterfest” event this Saturday from 10am to 12 noon at the Tuscarawas Community Center, located at 212 East Cherry Street in Tuscarawas.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature vehicle and equipment demonstrations from the Warwick Township Fire Department and Tuscarawas Police Department, free vision screenings from the Warwick Lions Club, and crafts from the Tuscarawas branch library.

In addition, officials from Trinity Hospital Twin City will be on hand to provide free blood pressure, glucose, and and cholesterol testing. Ten hours of fasting is recommended for those who wish to take part in the free testing.
