She is survived by a daughter, Jill (Ernie) Ross of Danville; son-in-law, William Young of Canton; grandchildren, Wendel Young of Cutler, Ill., Andrea (Greg) Anderson of Tuscarawas, Trent Ross of Indianapolis, Ind., and Holly Ross of Mt. Vernon; great-grandchildren, Kasey, Hawk, Heather (Bobby), Megan, Trista, Whitney, Brooke, Joshua, Brittany, Caleb and Trey; great-great-grandchildren, Kaden, Ethan, Bella and Riley; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Murle Watt to whom she was married on October 29, 1938, enjoying over sixty years of marriage until his passing on December 24, 1999, and their daughter, Sally Young who passed in 2010.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 25, in Park Christian Church in Dennison. The service will be officiated by Pastor Scot Caley and her grandson, Pastor Trent Ross. Interment will follow beside her beloved husband in Ridgecrest Memory Garden in Dover. Family and friends are invited to call at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Park Christian Church’s Building Fund.
