A New Philadelphia man has been arrested for possession of marijuana.
An employee of Murray Bail Bonds called police shortly after 11:00pm Thursday because of being met with resistance when trying to serve 29-year-old Dustin Rhodes with a warrant at his home on St. Clair Avenue.
Upon arrival, police noticed a substantial amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in plain view.
Rhodes was charged with possession of those items and taken to the Tuscarawas County jail.
Police say he was later released on $2500 bond and issued a summons to appear at New Philadelphia Municipal Court on Thursday, January 31.
