Dave was a 1989 graduate of Jackson High School and was co-owner of Miller Construction as a finish carpenter for 16 years. Dave was an active member of Greenwood Christian Church for 11 years. He was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed coaching, four wheeling and boating with his children.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Gladys Kennedy and Kenneth and Marie Carlisle; he is survived by his wife of 16 years, Danene; children, Deanna (13), Douglas (9) and Alex (5); parents, David and Shelley Carlisle, Sr.; brother, Jon (Carlie) Carlisle; parents-in-law, Ed and Doloris Varner; sister-in-law, Dianna Varner; grandfather, Aldo Kennedy; nephew, Max Carlisle; nieces, Ava and Grace Carlisle and LeAnne Gordon and friend and business partner, Rod Miller.
Calling hours will be Sunday 3-5 p.m. and Monday 10-11 a.m. at Greenwood Christian Church (4425 Frazer NW Canton, OH). Pastor Tony Amerine will officiate the funeral service 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment to follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Greenwood Christian Church.
