Commissioners Monday approved the three year contract that runs from March 3, 2013 to March 2016 and covers 17 employees.
Engineer Joe Bachman says the pact is fair to both parties.
Bachman says negotiations this time around were rather unusual.
Bachman says the last time negotiations were kept this simple was about 15 years ago and he credits current union leadership for the smooth process.
Bachman says the only other change in the new contract is the deletion of the clothing allowance.
