Bonnie L. Bond, age 79, of Grave Lick Rd in Newcomerstown, and most recently a resident of RiverSide Manor, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Union Hospital. She was born Tuesday, February 14, 1933 in Dennison, OH to the late Roy and Mary (Maffit) Parker.
On June 12, 1949 she married Richard Bond, who died on October 16, 2008. Bonnie retired from Indian Valley Schools after 30 years of service. She is survived by her sons, Ron and his wife Barb of Dover and Roger and his wife Gina of Newcomerstown, her grandchildren; Erin and her husband Troy Giesey, Ryan and his wife Katie, Randy, Robb, Kacy, and Stacy Bond and her great-grandchildren; Claire, Ethan and Emma Giesey; and Willow Bond and Rylynn Ross; 2 sisters Grace McCray of
Bradenton, Fl., and Doris LeMonte of Uhrichsville, OH, and her brother Glenn and his wife Flo of Dennison, OH.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her 2 infant sons; Rodney and Randall Bond, her brothers; Dean and Carl Parker and her sister, Betty McNely.
Services will be on Wednesday,January 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Addy Funeral Home with Tom Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Port Washington. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Addy Funeral Home.
