Committee chairman Don Maurer said a preliminary meeting on the budget was held on Tuesday, January 29th.
Maurer says he hopes to have the proposed budget finalized by the end of the committee’s next meeting on Monday, February 11th.
Maurer says the Finance committee meetings are usually well-attended.
Maurer has been a member of council for eight years and has been in charge of the finance committee for the past four years.
Again, the next committee meeting on the budget will take place on Monday, February 11th.
