Lina A. Maust, 94, of Dover died Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in the Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.
Born April 19, 1918 in Winfield she was a daughter of the late Lawrence "Marion" and Sarah Auman Gordon. Lina was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Myron K. Maust, on September 5, 1993 and six brother and three sisters.
Lina graduated from Dover High School in 1936, from there she worked at a variety of places throughout her career including, Houglan Drug Store in Strasburg, Stallard's Specialty Shop in Dover and had worked for 14 years at United Day Care. She was a member of the Winfield Zion Lutheran Church where she served on council and was the Treasurer. She was also active with the WELCA having held every office of the organization. Lina loved playing cards with her friends, especially playing bridge with the Saturday Night Bunch Bridge Club.
A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Lina will be sadly missed by her children, Michael (Karen) Maust of Carlisle, PA and Melanie (Steven) Russi of Dover; grandchildren, Matthew and Melissa Maust; step grandchildren, Jesse Russi and Julia Grewell and four step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 10 at 4:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Ellen Mills officiating. Following the service, a funeral luncheon will be held in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Private interment will be on Monday in the Bunker Hill Cemetery at Winfield.
