Twila M. Mast, 73, of Mount Eaton, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at her home following a two year battle with cancer.

She was born near Kidron on July 15, 1939 to the late Sylvan and Mary Ann (Geiser) Lehman and married Earl Mast on August 23, 1958. He survives.

Twila was a homemaker and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and did a lot of babysitting over the years for many children. She taught Bible school and Sunday school and enjoyed music and quilting. Twila and Earl enjoyed their many trips across the United States together.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Randy (Audrey) Mast of Dalton, Ron (Brenda Litt) Mast of Millersburg, Rean Mast of the home, Royal (Sharon) Mast of Mount Eaton, Retha (Mark) Maughiman of West Lebanon, Rodney (Tonya) Mast of Dalton and Robyn (Gabriel) Gilyard of Wilmot; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren (and 2 on the way); siblings, Carolyn Brinker of Scio, Clayton (Mary) Lehman of Mount Eaton, Esther (Marvin) Kandel of Dalton and Rosie (Abe) Yoder of Trail.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Longenecker Mennonite Church, 8451 CR 186, Dundee (near Winesburg), with Pastor Paul Mullet officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the church or on Saturday one hour prior to services. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.
