Theodore K. VerHulst, age 91, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, on April 20, 1921, to the late John and Norma VerHulst. Ted graduated from Wharton School of Finance and the University of Pennsylvania. He is a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII in Burma and in China. Ted worked as an accountant for the Timken Company in Canton, Ohio.
He is survived by his step-daughter, Mary McCluggage of Newark, Ohio; step-grandchildren, Michael McCluggage of Chicago, Illinois, Phil (Robin) McCluggage of Mason, Ohio, and Molly (Brad) Walker of Newark, Ohio.
Per Ted's wishes, no calling hours will be observed. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February, 9, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at South Lawn Cemetery with Reverend Jan Coffman officiating with the Coshocton County Veterans Council performing military honors.
