Tusky Valley to Hold State of the District Meeting

The Tuscarawas Valley local school district will hold a State of the District community meeting.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 26th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Tusky Valley High School auditorium.

School superintendent Mark Murphy says parents and residents of the school system are invited to this meeting.

Murphy says he and Treasurer Mike Robinson plan to ask for feedback from everyone who attends the meeting.

He says for the past two years, the district has maintained an Excellent With Distinction ranking even though it’s in the bottom twenty school districts in Ohio as far as how much it spends per pupil each year.

Murphy says he urges all Tusky Valley community members to attend the meeting.

To make sure the school has enough materials to distribute, anyone planning to attend the meeting is asked to call Beth McDade at (330) 859-2213 or e-mail her at beth.mcdade@tvtrojans.org
