She was born in Newcomerstown on January 27, 1928 to the late Ralph and Helen (Ruby) Parks. Doris was a member of Word Worship Center in Coshocton and worked as a waitress at Castle Snack Bar in Millersburg. On January 7, 1954, she married Ernest Huston Jr. who survives.
Doris is also survived by three children: Rebecca (Ray) Rogers, Cindy Rochelle Carpenter, and Erin (Bob) Taylor; three grandchildren: Raeann (Debbie Hughes) Rogers, Leeann Carnes, and Ernie Carpenter; five great-grandchildren: Kris Carnes, Ashley Carnes, Michael Carpenter, Gabe Carpenter and Sabin Carpenter; one brother: Kenny Parks; and two sisters: Wanita Meehan and Nadine Owen.
In addition to her parents; Doris was preceded in death by two daughters: Brenda Sue Huston and Vickie Jo Huston; and one brother: Ralph Parks Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 10:00 am at Plainfield Cemetery with Pastor Jim Gross officiating.
