She was born in Cambridge, Ohio on June 7, 1921, the daughter of the late Boyd Ambrose and Helen Rebecca (Lohr) McMurtrie. Mildred was a 1939 graduate of Coshocton High School. She worked at both the A&P and Kroger grocery stores in Coshocton, and also owned and operated Southside Market in West Lafayette. Mildred was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Lafayette. On January 27, 1940 she married Arthur Merle Tedrick who preceded her in death on November 27, 2005.
Mildred is survived by her son, Jack David Tedrick of the home; one sister, Denise Burkey of Elyria, Ohio; one daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Tedrick of West Lafayette; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Lee Tedrick Sr.; one sister, Helen Louise Dunfee; and an infant brother.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 12:00pm with Pastor David Kraft officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the time of service on Saturday.
