According to police, a resident of East 4th Street reported that the driver’s side of her vehicle had been hit while parked on the street early Thursday.
In addition, police were contacted about a hit-skip accident at 5th and Cross Streets just after 8:00am Thursday.
While on patrol a short time later, officers noticed a vehicle had been hit while parked on East 4th Street.
Shortly after 8:30am Thursday, police recovered an abandoned vehicle at 7th Street and Crater Avenue, which had been reported as stolen from Front Street Automotive on West 2nd Street.
Dover police determined that was the vehicle involved in the hit-skip incidents.
