Jean was well-known for her loving personality and her infectious laughter. She very much enjoyed cooking, crocheting, attending sporting events and school productions, and spending time with her family. A lot of time was spent around the dinner table eating her home-cooked meals. Even as she became older, she would play whiffle ball in the backyard with her grandkids. Her loving and fun outlook on life has definitely been passed down through her three generations.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Dick, son Tom, grandsons Heath and Justin Wilkin, and brother-in-law Russell Neal. She is survived by four sons, Craig (Mary Ann), Dusty, and Dan Wilkin of Newcomerstown, and Mike (Rachel) Wilkin of Dover; 7 grandchildren, Angie (Trent) Couts of Gnadenhutten, Derrick and Dusty and Lindsey (Dave) Bryan of Newcomerstown, and Megan and Mallorie Wilkin and Miranda Grasselli of Dover; 12 great-grandchildren Jillian and Kellen Couts, Payne Wilkin, Heath Wilkin, Cayden, Brennan, Madison, Abigail, and Wyatt Wilkin, and Tayte, Tristen, and Trace Bryan; and sister Sue Neal and brother Don (Janice) Kohl of Newcomerstown complete her family.
