Clara G. Nickerson



Clara G. Nickerson, age 88 of Canal Fulton, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Rose Lane Health Care Center. She was born on July 25, 1924 in Pleasant City, Ohio and was the daughter of John and Frances (Kirkbride) Geibel.

Clara worked as a nurse's aide for 23 years at Doctor's Hospital.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Nickerson, Sr., her son, Curtis Nickerson, Jr. and her brothers, Bernard, Raymond and Jim Geibel.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Michael) Eller and Frances Dolph, her grandchildren, Debra Ferguson, Jennifer Cress, Eric Potts and Donnie Potts, 10 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, Jess Geibel, Charles Geibel and John Geibel and her sisters, Ruth Reese, Betty Mathers, Kate Nickol and Phyllis Lowther.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.

Memorials are suggested in her name to the Alzheimer's Association.
