Carroll County Sheriff Dale Williams says the blaze at 9022 Bachelor Road NW was reported at 4:16 pm Tuesday.
Magnolia, Waynesburg, Sandy Township, East Sparta, Dellroy and Carroll County fire departments responded to the fire.
Williams says the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
Williams says the county coroner is expected to conduct an autopsy on Edgar Grimes to determine the cause of death.
