Marsha Verrico, 61, of Canton and formerly of Walnut Creek died on Friday, February 22, 2013 at her residence. She was born October 23, 1951 in Dover to the late Lyle D. and Doris Jean (Korns) Hostetler, Sr.
She received her Masters of Science Degree in 1979 from Texas A and M, had worked for both the Kellogg's and Nabisco company in Michigan as director of research and development and was a member of Beit Ha Kavod Synagogue in Canton.
She was married to John F. Verrico who preceded her in 1989.
She is survived by her daughter Veronica K (Justin) Mann of Navarre, granddaughter Addison Mann and her brothers Lyle D. Hostetler Jr. of Dover, Bradley J. (Cheryll) Hostetler of Littleton, Colorado, Wesley L. (Sharon) Hostetler of Strasburg and sister Polly (John) Plyter of North Canton.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her infant son Peter F. Verrico.
Burial was held Saturday, February 23, 2013 in the Hostetler Cemetery in Walnut Creek Twp. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 5:00 PM at the Sanctuary Church of God 6535 Maplebrook St. NE East Canton, Ohio 44730 with Rabbi Mark Lancaster officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
