He was a lifelong resident of Massillon, where he was a self-employed drywaller, plasterer, and stucco contractor. Sam was one of the original members of Tiger Town Boat and Ski Club. He enjoyed boating and fishing on Lake Erie.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Palmenter and his loving friend and companion Elaine Forrester.
He is survived by his Aunt and Uncle, Mildred (Jacobs) and Eugene Zimbello; many cousins including Carol and Elizabeth Zimbello of Canal Fulton, Patty Zimbello of Massillon and Elaine's children and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Samuel's Life will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 7 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home. Fr. Thomas Cebula will be Officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to The Philomatheon Society of the Blind, Inc.: 2701 Tuscarawas Street, West, Canton, Ohio 44708.
