He was born in Detroit, MI on May 1, 1941 to the late Lawrence " Barney" and Jane Francis Dean.
Bob was a graduate of Timken High School, and attended Stark State College of Technology.
He also proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He retired from the Timken Company following 35 years of service.
He was a member of Holy Family Parish (St. Clement) in Navarre. He expressed an earnest passion for bowling, golfing, and swimming. He especially treasured his annual golf vacations with his best friend Reed L. Brown, Jr. He sincerely valued his family and was the biggest fan of all of his grandchildren, from ball to dance.
Bob is survived by his wife, Veda (Wiggins) Dean of 39 years; his four children: Shari (Danny) Douglas of Canton, Greg (Rosie) Dean of Canton, Gina (Randy) Yoder of Pagosa Springs , CO, Brittany (Younouss) Dean of Massillon; his eleven grandchildren: Taryn, Rocky, Corry, Emily, Michael, Katie, Gracie, Gwynn, Rydan, Sophia, Diye; one great-grandson, Colton.
Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 11:00AM-2:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00PM.
