Council voted earlier this year to place the same 2.5 mill, five-year levy that appeared before voters in November's general election on the May primary ballot.
Leading up to May 7th, Councilman and Safety Committee Chair Frank Golec says village officials plan to take time to educate the public on what the levy really means.
While council has discussed possibly hosting a series of town hall meetings to get the word out, Golec says they have actually decided to take a slightly different approach this time.
The fire truck levy in November was defeated by only 21 votes.
