Mary D. Halkovich



Mary D. Halkovich, 94, of Wolf Run, Ohio died Saturday evening March 9, 2013 in Dixon Healthcare Center at Wintersville following an extended illness. Born May 17, 1918 in Wolf Run she was a daughter of the late Dimitri and Michalene Repellla Halkovich.

Mary was a member of All Saints Orthodox Church of Wolf Run, Holy Mary Sisterhood where she had served as Secretary, and the RBO Lodge.

She is survived by seven nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews, and five great great nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by four brothers, Samuel, Vladimir, John, and Sylvester " Bunnie" Halkovich; and three sisters, Julia Ondusko, Helen Halkovich, Anna Halkovich; and infant sister, Mary.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the All Saints Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in the All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. in the Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Amsterdam, where Parastas Services will be held at 7:30 p.m.
