Born July 29, 1929 in Trail, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Elden and Alma Schnitzer Miller.
Marjorie graduated from Dundee High School in 1947. Her late husband, Linus, converted her to an avid sports fan. She attended high school basketball and volleyball games, and cheered on the Buckeyes, Browns and Cavs.
On November 19, 1950, she married Linus Yockey, who proceeded her in death in 2004. Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Beth, of Reynoldsburg, and Shelley (Wes) Luthy of Westerville; grandchildren, Logan Luthy (fiancee Michele Patete) of Mentor-on-the Lake, Ohio, and Kelsie Luthy of Westerville. She is also survived by her brother, William (Susan) Miller of Dundee and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Miller of Dundee and Hazel Yockey, of Dover.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Marjorie was proceeded in death by her brothers, Paul Miller and Robert Miller.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18 at 11:00 AM at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover with the Rev. LuAnn Youngman officiating. Interment will be at Dover Burial Park.
