The family relocated to Roswell while Camillo was still a young boy. He attended Roswell school, and was a member of St. Elizabeth church until its closure when he became a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Camillo was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Air Corps. Upon his return to the Tuscarawas Valley he went to work at Joy Manufacturing before becoming a miner, working until his retirement at the Midvale Mine.
He’ll be remembered by his family for his love of hunting and vegetable gardening.
Survivors include his two sisters; Anna Fiora and Rita Contini, both of New Philadelphia. Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, complete the family.
In addition to his parents, Camillo is preceded in death by his brother Ernest Martinelli, and sisters, Olivia Boggiani, Louise Murphy, Lee Martinelli, and brother Rudy Martinelli.
