She attended the old Miller grade school and Keene High School. She was previously employed for 25 years at Hay's Jeweler in Coshocton. She was an auxiliary member of the VFW Post 2040 and Ladies Moose Lodge of Coshocton. She also enjoyed planting flowers and having a garden each year and canning the many vegetables they raised. On July 16, 1966 she married Bernard G. Sharrock who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Richard "Dick" March and wife Mary of Hinckley, one daughter, Roxanne Slaughter and husband Carson of Coshocton, and son-in-law, Vernon Kees of Newcomerstown; a step daughter, Jeannie Baker and her husband Jim of Newcomerstown; a step son, Rick Sharrock of West Mifflin, PA; a step sister, Florence Keltz of Wooster; a step brother, Fred Santangelo of CA; and three nephews. She was a "special grandma" to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Dona Kees in 1997, sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Everett McNabb; brother, Jack Williams, an infant grandson; two step brothers and a step sister.
Services will be Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown with Rev. Donald Silverthorne officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
