WTUZ Radio What's Happening Rules & Provisions:
WTUZ Radio provides free broadcast air-time (What's Happening) to non-profit organizations to help publicize events and meetings.
Any organization that pays for advertising in other media, broadcast or print, will not be considered for free broadcast air-time on WTUZ Radio.
An organization is considered to be an established or recognized group in good standing in the community, i.e.: band boosters, parent teacher associations, Rotary, Lions, etc. or non-profit organizations without advertising budgets such as those chartered under Tax Code 501(C)3.
WTUZ reserves the right to accept or reject any copy submitted for broadcast.
WTUZ reserves the right to edit any copy for content and/or time restrictions.
WTUZ, at its discretion, reserves the right to broadcast as many or as few announcements as conditions permit.
What's Happening announcements are aired when time is available. We can not and do not guarantee how many times an announcement will run, nor can we guarantee specific time placement.
For specific runs or specific time placement, a schedule must be purchased.
How to submit an event:
To submit events, send your information so it is received at WTUZ a minimum of two weeks prior to the event. Information may be e-mailed to cindy@wtuz.com or info@wtuz.com (attachments are discouraged and those sent must be compatible with Microsoft Word), faxed to 330-339-5930, brought to the WTUZ office during business hours (Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm), or sent via regular mail to:
