Even through tough economic times, New Towne Mall saw an increase in Christmas shoppers this holiday season.
Adria Allison, Marketing Director at New Towne Mall, says although this entire season has produced a large amount of shoppers, the faster Christmas approaches the more shoppers there are.
Allison says with the large crowds all fighting for the best deals, long lines can be created however, mall personnel handle those lines very well.
Allison says a number of stores are promoting last minute shopping due to the economy and says very aggressive sales are being offered in order to help keep store sales up through the holiday season.
Allison says due to extended hours, the mall will be open to the public today until 10 Tuesday night and on Christmas Eve from 8 in the morning until 6 in the evening.
