The Mayor of New Philadelphia says City residents have spoken.
Mayor Mike Taylor says a survey was recently sent out to residents asking for their perception and input of the downtown area.
Taylor says over a thousand residents responded to the survey, that was sent out on behalf of himself and the Re-Zoning Advisory Committee, and says the response shows that residents do truly care about the future of the downtown area.
Taylor Comments:
Taylor says the Advisory Committee will mull over the surveys, over the next month or so, and says he hopes that they will be able to come up with some ideas of how to improve the downtown area.

The surveys were mailed out with February water bills.
