Browns' Quarterback Shuffle Underway

Quarterback Derek Anderson had some very bad things to say about Cleveland Browns’ fans after he was released from the team on Tuesday. Upon learning that the team was releasing him, Anderson called Browns fans “ruthless” and said they “…don’t deserve a winner.” Anderson was apparently reacting to a response by some fans who cheered as he left a game due to injury and Brady Quinn was summoned to relieve him. A day after taking the shots, Anderson has said his remarks were out of frustration from being released and he apologized. Rather than pay Anderson a large bonus and large salary in 2010, new team president Mike Holmgren traded a draft choice to Seattle in exchange for back up quarterback Seneca Wallace. Meanwhile, former Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme is reportedly paying a visit to Berea on Thursday to see about any openings on the Browns’ roster.
