Many ears will be in attendance at the 29th annual Strasburg Corn Fest this weekend.
Along with lots of corn, games, competition and entertainment will be the main features at this year’s corn fest beginning at 5pm Friday in Strasburg. T
he weekend’s activities will conclude with fireworks Saturday night at 10pm.
Food vendors will be offering roasted corn, barbecued chicken, pork sandwiches, pizza and a variety of homemade food from area organizations.
All proceeds from the festival will be used for upgrades and maintenance of Strasburg-Franklin Park.
Parking and admission is free.
Pets are not permitted.

Friday
4 to 5 – 3 on 3 basketball registration for boys and girls ages 13-15
5 – 3 on 3 basketball tournament
5 to 6:30 – Bandhouse, gazebo stage
5 to 9:30 – Car show, antique cars and cruise-in; entry $8, music by Spike Man.
6 – Cornhole tournament
8 to 11 – Electric Mud band, gazebo stage.
Saturday
8 - 9am – 3 on 3 basketball registration for men and women over age 19
9 – 3 on 3 basketball
10 – Girls’ softball games
10:30-11 – Children’s games, ages 6 and under, playground at north end of park
11 – Ronald McDonald variety show, gazebo stage
Noon – Garden tractor and all-terrain vehicle pull, north end of park, weigh-in at 11.
Noon to 1 p.m. – Singer-musician Ren, gazebo
1:30 – Corn eating contest, gazebo, registration from noon to 1 p.m.
3 to 4 – New Towne Cloggers, gazebo
4:30 to 6:30 – Mike Wikoff’s Wacky country, gazebo
8 to 11 – Conestoga, country band, gazebo.
10 – Fireworks
