Pauline V. Miller 98 of Sugarcreek died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Walnut Hills Nursing Home in Walnut Creek following a period of declining health. She was born August 4, 1919 in Holmes County to the late Noah and Angeline (Alpeter) Miller.
She had worked at the former Mast Leather in Walnut Creek for 24 years and was a member of Walnut Creek Mennonite Church. She enjoyed crocheting, putting together jigsaw puzzles and gardening. She was married on December 22, 1941 to Ohlen “Joe” Miller who died April 7, 2000.
She is survived by her children Charlie (Sherry) Miller of Sugarcreek, Thomas (Jean) Miller of White, Georgia, Ned (Darlene) Miller of Killbuck, Glenda (Ken) Hochstetler of Florence, Arizona and Gayle Brown of Sugarcreek, grandchildren Joel Hochstetler, Janna (Steve) Hambor, Carla (Harry) Barker, Darla (Dave) Amos, Jennifer Randazzo, Terri Jo (Josh) Miller Garren, Ben (Emmy) Brown, Corey (Carly Lesoski) Brown, Mandy (Ivo) Ivanov, and James (Sasha) Miller, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law Robert Brown, 3 brothers and 6 sisters.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Monday, February 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church with Pastor Don Hamsher officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery prior to services. Friends may call on Sunday from 1-4 PM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
