Nick McWilliams reporting – Although the weather only recently changed, the Christmas season is right around the corner.

In the spirit of the holidays, the Polar Express will be back at the Dennison Depot Railroad Museum from December 1st through the 4th and the 8th through the 11th.

Tickets are on sale for the yearly train adventure, and Executive Director Wendy Zucal says that interested residents should buy now rather than later to guarantee a spot.

“You want to call as soon as possible to get your tickets, because they’re currently on sale, and we have first class, deluxe, and coach seats. Saturday nights are the most popular, so if you have a particular day and time, you want to get your requests in and order your tickets as soon as possible.”

This year features two additional dates, which works out to four additional trips.

The Twin Cities version of the Polar Express is the only one officially registered with Warner Brothers.

Families will experience the tale of the popular children’s book, enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, visit with elves, and a trip back to the Depot with a sleigh bell from Santa.

Ticket purchasing can be done online at www.dennisondepot.org, or by calling (740) 922-6776.
