Mary Alice Reporting – Going with this year’s theme for One Book, One Community, a Digital Detox program will be hosted on October 22nd.

Christine Kendle from OSU Extension Tuscarawas County will discuss how technology can affect everyone’s life and the benefits of getting away from the screen.

The program will be at the Dover Public Library and Director Jim Gill says that all ages can benefit from this teaching on how to spend less time with technology.

Gill encourages everyone to maintain a health mind, body, and spirit by setting up parameters to take time for a digital detox.

This goes along with the 2019 One Book, one Community’s book choice of How to Break Up With Your Phone, by Catherine Price.

Residents still have time to read the book and for more information about either program, contact the Dover Library at 330-343-6123.
