Nick McWilliams reporting – Ongoing quarterly meetings held by a JFS committee are a chance to improve upon services provided by the group.

The Performance Quality Improvement Committee, founded around 10 years ago within Tuscarawas County Job and Family Services, meets on February 25th, May 26th, August 25th and November 24th this year.

Director David Haverfield says that the committee breaks down all areas of operations, and what can be made better.

“We really look at a wide range of measures that look at what we’re doing here. We look at things like our building safety. Are there incident reports where someone may have gotten hurt here? We keep track of statistical information particularly in child’s services. And that’s where it started from. We kind of look at what we are doing.”

All residents of the county are welcome, regardless if they actively use JFS services or not.

All meetings happen at the TCJFS building on 16th Street at 2:30 p.m.
