Raymond D. “Whitey” Mullet – February 20, 2018

Raymond D. “Whitey” Mullet 70 of Millersburg died Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at University Hospital in Cleveland following a brief illness. He was born February 26, 1947 in Holmes County to the late Dan A. and Edna (Miller) Mullet.

He was a member of the Sharon Mennonite Church in Sugarcreek. He owned and operated TMK Farm Service since 1976. He enjoyed golf, was an honorary member of East Holmes Fire Dept., an avid Hiland Hawks fan, and enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in sporting events. 

He is survived by his wife, the former Anna Yoder whom he married on October 22, 1966; his four children Brian (Rena) Mullet of Millersburg, Keith (Tracie) Mullet of Berlin, Denise (Bryan) German of Dover and Rhonda (Luke) Raber of New Bedford. His nine grandchildren Jamie, Eric and Courtney Mullet, Lance Kinsey, Garrett Snow, Reese Mullet, Alex and Caleb German and Malakai Raber, two brothers Steve (Becky) Mullet of Berlin and Jim (Kathy) Mullet of Millersburg, and four sisters Mary Mullet of Berlin, Esta (Monroe) Schlabach of Millersburg, Ellen Zappone of Clearwater, Florida and Rosie Mullet of Millersburg and his father-in-law Eli Yoder of Millersburg. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his brother Jerry Mullet and a brother-in-law Ramon Zappone.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Light in the Valley Chapel with Pastor Ed Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek. Friends may call on Thursday 5-8 PM and Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM all at Light in the Valley Chapel. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
