Mary Alice Reporting:

(Friday, November 10th) Dover, Ohio – Ohio’s 98th District Representative took time to talk and update local leaders about what’s happening in the Ohio House.

Al Landis says he represents Tuscarawas and Holmes County in Columbus and that he has the responsibility to report back to the community about what is happening in legislatively.

“Especially when we’re concluding the first half of the 137th General Assembly. We’re going into the last year. As to what I’m doing, what I’m serving on, and what we’re doing collectively as a legislative body and how it effects our area.”

He explains that he is on multiple boards which gives insights to help during the legislative making process.

“The testimony that you hear, and how you vote, how you amend bills, and the other thing is you’re also influencing policy. You have a voice as to what policy is going to be for the state of Ohio going forward.”
