Robert Cloyde “Ted” Quillen, Jr., 68, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, after a lengthy illness. Born May 13, 1950 in Dennison, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Mary Jane (Murray) Quillen.
Ted was a lifelong Twin City resident who was employed for many years by Michigan Sewerpipe. He was a member of the Uhrichsville Eagles and Uhrichsville Moose. Ted enjoyed tinkering in his garage and, most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
On October 11, 1968, Ted married the former Constance J. “Connie” Morrison with whom he recently celebrated 50 years of loving marriage. He is also survived by their daughters, Shelly (Brian) Burdette and Kelly (Brandon) Milburn; grandchildren, Brian (Heather) Burdette, Brandon Milburn and Nathan Milburn; great-grandchildren, Brianna and Caylee Burdette; his sisters, Truth Cannon and Annette Anno; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Ted’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. A private family service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
