Robert D. Walton, 90, of Dover passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Aultman Hospital.
Born October 9, 1927 in New Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Ellsworth and Edna Kerper Walton. Robert was also preceded in death by his daughter, Rita Weygandt.
Robert was a Navy veteran of WW II; he served with the Amphibious Forces as a Landing Craft Operator at the invasion of Okinawa and Inchon, Korea. He retired from the Nickle Plate Railroad and the Tuscarawas County Sherriff’s Department. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Eastern Star.
Robert is survived by his son, Alan (Carol) Walton.
