During the Tuscarawas County’s annual awards celebration, a new chairperson was named for the Board of Directors.
Frank Polen, with Buckeye Career Center, was in the seat for 2023 and he announced that Andrea Miley will take over.
Polen noted that the Chamber saw significant achievements over the past year or so despite challenges.
“Fellow board members, your efforts and commitment have been the driving force behind the Chamber’s services achievements; such as, adding 93 new members over the last two years, hosting the Chamber’s largest golf outing, numerous ribbon cuttings, and the return to capacity of Business After Hours event.”
Miley took a few moments then to thank Polen for his leadership.
“[His] tireless work has not only led to tremendous growth for Buckeye Career Center but it also has been instrumental in the development of our workforce and attraction of industry to Tuscarawas County.”
