Rosalie Marie Maloy, 84, of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on November 8, 2023, in Akron. She was born September 8, 1939 in Coshocton, to the late Edward and Mary (Amore) Grewell.
Rosalie graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1957. In addition to a wonderful homemaker, Rosalie loved to read, cook for her family, bowling, gardening, artex painting, puzzles and wordsearches, country-western music, collecting music boxes, and shot glasses from vacation. She also loved spending time and visiting with her family and going on vacation.
On December 5, 1957, she married Larry Maloy who preceded her death in 1988. Rosalie is survived by her children, Keith Allen (Karen) Maloy of West Lafayette, Michael Dean (Angela) Maloy of Gnadenhutten, Rick David Maloy of Newcomerstown, Lori Jean (David) Billings of Uhrichsville; grandchildren, Trisha (Caleb) Noble, Christopher Maloy, Kayla Maloy, Craig Maloy, Talia Grisez, Molly Morris, Jordan Stout, Aaron (Christina) McMahon, Megan McMahon, Emily McMahon, Whitney (Joseph) Ridenour; great-grandchildren, Felicity and Thea McMahon, Josie, Delilah, and Iris Stout; her siblings, Jean (Clare) Taylor, Robert (Teresa) Grewell, Edward Grewell, Charlotte (Randy) Haney, and Roger Glenn Grewell; her half-sister, Mary (Mick) Garbrant; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richie Maple and a sister, Virginia (Raymond) Heston.
Services for Rosalie will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 12 PM at Addy Funeral Home with Randy Haney officiating. Burial will follow at Canal Lewisville Cemetery, Coshocton. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 10 AM to 12 PM prior to the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Addy Funeral Home 406 W State St, Newcomerstown, OH 43832.
