(Thursday, December 5, 2018) Tuscarawas County, Ohio – The Tuscarawas County Library is getting into the holiday spirit with festive activities for friends of all ages.

The community is invited to celebrate at any of their five locations throughout the month of December to participate in fun holiday programs, and even a visit from the North Pole.

Public Relations Associate Molly Calhoun says festivities kick off Thursday at their Bolivar location at 5:00pm and Strasburg location at 5:30pm with crafts, snacks, stories and more.  On Friday, community members are invited to visit the main library after the Christmas parade.

“The main library here in New Philadelphia hosts Santa after the New Philadelphia Christmas Parade. Anyone is welcome to come back to the library. We will have hot cocoa, crafts, cookies, and also kids can get a free photo with Santa.”

The free community events will continue at the Tuscarawas Branch on December 11that 6:00pm and lastly, the Sugarcreek Branch on December 21st at 5:00pm.
